Pro Thin Northland is based in Whangarei and runs a crew of nine, including four owner-operators who work alongside the team on every contract, not just manage it from a distance. When the people with the most riding on the outcome are the ones running the saws, quality control isn't a separate step. It's built into the job from the first tree.
The crew's experience spans the full silviculture cycle (planting, spraying, pruning and thinning), but manual thinning to waste is where the business has focused hardest, with the goal of setting the standard for the discipline across Northland, and eventually the country.
